We the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute INDIA into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizen...
It's not troublesome to recognize these lines. Yes, they are from our PREAMBLE. But ask your conscience; are we doing the right thing to constitute INDIA into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC? Are we?
There are many who will be answering this question with a big YES. They might put an argument that they are paying taxes, not participating in any type of corruption, following all the rules, and not doing anything wrong. Do you think this is enough? If your answer is yes, then why our nation is not moving forward with a good pace towards the title of DEVELOPED NATION.
In the financial year 2018-19, there were 66.8 million direct taxpayers in India. Every year, more than 1.5 million graduates pass out as Engineers. According to the Medical Council of India, there is a total of 0.98 million active doctors in India. CEO of Google, CEO of Nokia, CEO of Microsoft, and plenty other global personalities have an Indian origin. Despite having a gigantic number, gifted youth, WHY ARE WE NOT ABLE TO DEVELOP? There a number of answers to this question. But in my opinion, the main reason is POLITICS.
No, I'm not blaming the politicians who are deteriorating the nation right now. I'm blaming all the other eligible people who are criticizing them from the audience seat. You take the example of any school, either it is government or private. The elite group of students, that creamy layer of students, always have dreams of becoming doctors, engineers, artists, scientists but no one ever dreams of becoming a politician. On the other hand, those students who are considered good for nothing have a better option of becoming a politician. This line might be wrong as you can say Einstein was also a so-called retarded boy in school, but sire, you don't take exceptions as examples. A man who has a professional degree from IIT and a management degree from IIM will surely have a better mindset and capability than a person who is just 9th fail.
Plato once said-
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."Let's take an example, and this statement will make you realize what is the situation of India. There is an MLA who is only a 12th pass. Due to his immense political power, he becomes the Health Minister of his state. He knows nothing about his ministry, he cannot manage the power given to him, and just like others, he is not even honest. There are men/women who sacrificed their lives, cracked the toughest examination of India to have a title of an IAS officer. Why? To take orders from these slugs who know nothing. Can you imagine, you are an IAS officer and you are transferred 11 times in 25 months of your service, just because you were being professional and honest with your country. This is what actually is happening in the country.
What I find a little sarcastic in all this, is we are unemployed. The biggest problem our youth is facing is unemployment and we are not recognizing politics as an employment sector. Can you imagine a job where you are only required to give speeches instead of interviews/written tests/GD? If you are selected then yes you have to work hard just like any other job. But man takes a look at the income allowances and perquisites. You get a bungalow, a car, servants, money for petrol, money for the tour and plus your salary 1.1 L per month. Tell me a single job that provides you this much luxury.
Just one!!
Many of us may have a query that this field is very bad. It's mud, you cannot stay clean if you are in it. Yes, that's totally true. It's very polluted and it will be very hard for those who will stand against this bug. But we have to stand. Instead of having a sour debate on it in a family function, it's better to rise up and stand against this problem.

Yes you are right biggest problem is that today we do not want to be the part of that politics which we are cursing day and night.Someone have to enter the sewer to clean it.Some of its part is also our type of socialism even today we are not clear that we have to follow Marx socialism or Gandhi socialism. There is a major role of that learned persons who in sycophancy of leaders forget their roles for society and never points out their wrong steps. Please don't ignore politics your ignorance towards politics will destroy the democracy...
ReplyDeleteWell written and nicely explained...Rather than sitting and wasting an hour or 2 discussing about politics, we should think of some solutions for bringing a change.
